By J. K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, added than any of the four antecedent novels in the series, is a coming-of-age story. Harry faces the barbed alteration into adulthood, if developed heroes are appear to be fallible, and affairs that seemed black-and-white al of a sudden appear out in shades of gray. Gone is the believing innocent, the adept kid of Sorcerer's Stone. Here we accept an boyish who's sometimes sullen, generally abashed (especially about girls), and consistently self-questioning. Confronting afterlife again, as able-bodied as a amazing prophecy, Harry ends his year at Hogwarts beat and pensive. Readers, on the added hand, will be activated as they access yet afresh the continued cat-and-mouse aeon for the next appellation in the marvelous, bewitched series.

At last 5
What can I say about such an overly hyped book as this? Only that is was well worth the wait! For all of you who have never read any of the Potter books (could there really be people who haven't read at least one?) think of these books as a series of magical mysteries.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3)
By J.K. Rowling

One of my favorite books, 2nd best of the Potter books
For my money, though I like the first two Potter books, this is where Rowling struck gold. I started reading the series in late 1999 or early 2000, well before GOBLET came out, and when I finished the three books that at that time were out, I thought AZKABAN was not only easily the best of three, but one of the best books I had read in a long time. The storyline is easily the strongest of the first three installments, and for once Voldemort is not the main villain driving the plot, but, so it is thought, a renegade supporter of his who murdered 13 people with a single curse. For most children, summer vacation is something to look forward to. But not for our 13-year-old hero, who's forced to spend his summers with an aunt, uncle, and cousin who detest him. The third book in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series catapults into action when the young wizard "accidentally" causes the Dursleys' dreadful visitor Aunt Marge to inflate like a monstrous balloon and drift up to the ceiling. Fearing punishment from Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon (and from officials at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who strictly forbid students to cast spells in the nonmagic world of Muggles), Harry lunges out into the darkness with his heavy trunk and his owl Hedwig.
